Summer Pool & Racquet Club Update!
We are currently preparing for the pool season. It’s exciting, but the status of our opening is still dependent on the “Phase” of COVID mitigation that the State of Illinois will have in place at the end of May. We are currently in Phase 4 – which has capacity limits – and cases in the State are not moving in the best direction. If Phase 4 remains in place at the time of opening, we will leverage the swim “session” reservation process that we used at the end of last season. Instructions for use of that system will be described on this site as well as broadcast through this site’s email notification function. (Resident and non-resident members can register on this site. Non-resident members may need to describe themselves as residents, but we’re among friends and you are welcome!)
You may have noticed the work going on at our tennis courts! This work should be completed in time for much summer use (tennis and pickleball). As we look forward to this new facility, we must ask members to be respectful of the care needed to maintain the courts. This area can no longer serve as the neighborhood play area. Those who are not playing tennis or pickleball will be asked to leave. You may also see additional security measures being taken to insure the best care of the new courts (details to come).
Qualified Guards needed for 2021 Season
We are currently filling our lifeguard positions for the 2021 season. If you will have necessary certifications by the start of this season (5/29/2021) or if you have any further questions about this position, please contact our pool manager – John Bilardello via email at [email protected]. Applicants without Fall school sports commitments are especially needed.
We have a limited number of memberships available to non-residents (with no bond requirement). These memberships include full access to the swimming and the tennis facilities. Registration is open now for summer 2021 at the early bird discount rate of $599 per household. The early bird discount expires April 1st, after which the normal rate of $629 per household applies.
Membership fees can be paid by check or online. For your registration to be final, we must obtain a completed registration form with the waiver and listing of household members (see the link at the bottom of this page).
2021 Pool Reservations
Similar to last summer, during Phase 4 of Restore Illinois we will continue to operate on a reservation basis only, with daily reservations available for each member of the household (2.25 hours per reservation) plus the adult lap swimming hour.
Until we reach Phase 5 of Restore Illinois we are unable to accommodate non-member guests (normally $5 per guest, per visit).
Please contact us with any questions!
Swim lessons are available for all ages and abilities. Lessons are given by our capable lifeguards and swim team coaching staff. If interested, arrangements can be made in person at the Pool Office. The Manager on duty will be able to provide input for expectations (No Michael Phelps outcomes), times and cost.
The Cobras Swim Team is a Park District sponsored league open to school age children through High School. No prior competitive swimming experience is required. This program is as much about sportsmanship and having fun as it is about competition. Registration information can be found at www.gocobras.com.
Come join the Cobras Water Polo Team! If your child is 8-14 years old and loves water sports, they will love playing water polo! It’s a fun and aggressive sport with several teams competing across Naperville. The season starts as soon as the pool opens and runs to mid-July. Matches do not conflict with swim meets. Please check the website for registration and any updated information.
